our mission and our goal is to continue to serve
our customers as we move towards the 100th anniversary of our founding.
Since Ueno was established in 1947, we have continued to meet the needs of our customers for over 75 years.
We have established a structure in both Japan and Asian countries which enables service points as close as possible to our customers to support their business in Asia, and as a result we have been able to meet the needs of our customers in a timely manner and gained their trust.
Since we formulated our Ueno Compliance Policy in 2006, we worked hard to further the trust our customers place in us. Companies are expected to act in accordance with relevant laws and regulations and observe social norms, and to meet these expectations, Ueno will further strengthen strict compliance and security measures.
If we look at the future of manufacturing, we expect that machinery and parts that are presently used will be replaced by those that comply with zero carbon technology. This will entail a large capital investment in many industries.
With the progress of IoT and artificial intelligence, and the strengthening of the next-generation communication infrastructure together with the development of new technologies, expectations of more advanced technology will continue to grow. From the viewpoint of sustainability, focus will be on local production for local consumption supply chains, and reshoring will grow in various industries. Advanced information gathering and analysis will be required for planning for locations of production centers.
As we are entering an era of rapid changes, in order to provide optimized solutions to our customers, in 2022, we updated our in-house core systems. In addition to significantly strengthening our procurement and logistics functions, we initiated our “Digital Transformation Management Strategy” to integrate individual functions with digital performance.
While we are building on innovation, we will continue to adhere to the motto “Ueno’s business starts from yes,” which we have followed since our founding. It is our goal to provide our customers with the products and services they need, when they need them. By doing so we can support manufacturing and production of our customers. We will to continue to serve our customers as always as we move towards our 100th anniversary.
